Why Tallow?

Many modern moisturisers rely on petrolatum‑derived ingredients to seal in moisture. These can be effective surface barriers, but they don’t nourish the skin itself.

Tallow works differently. Its fatty acid profile is similar to human sebum, allowing it to absorb easily and support the skin barrier rather than sitting on top. Our formulations retain naturally occurring vitamins A, D, K and E—without synthetic stabilisers or fragrance.

How we render our Tallow

We render all of our tallow in‑house using a controlled, small‑batch process.

1. Wet rendering gently draws out impurities using water and salt - only.

2. Filtration removes remaining solids for clarity and purity.

3. Dry rendering eliminates residual moisture, improving shelf stability and performance.

No chemicals. No bleaching. No preservatives.
Just careful control at each stage.

Bottled in dark amber glass to protect the oils from light and help maintain their natural stability over time.
